I was asked to share my thoughts of when I met Jamie/Myhr and I thought about it and couldn't think what to say. I still don't know what to say but will give it a try.

I met Jamie the Summer of 1996 in Norfolk, VA, "A Kingdom By the Sea" convention.

The thing I remember most was that when he was talking to me it was as though I was the only one in the room. And considering there were probably about 50 others at any one minute around him, that says a lot about him. He gives you his full attention when you are talking with him.

I asked for a picture and he was so pleasant. It was as though he attended to have his picture taken with me. So we got nose to nose and I got my favorite picture. Since then I have had others taken and he is always so gracious. Whether it is Jamie or Myhr, he always takes the time for one more picture.

I am always happy to see him again at the next convention. He makes me laugh. Jamie, I hope you have a very special Birthday and it is full of friends and family close by you. I will be thinking about you that day.
